MAITRI not only rescues and treats animals, it also has an animal oureach program for local villages (not to mention its main work with leprosy, tuberculosis, village schools and more!) The new goats will join the resident goats already at MAITRI as well as almost 100 rescued dogs, chickens, rabbits and even a horse.
